Another Dead 360...

This is geting pretty old.  Two rings of death, a bad video card and now a blown DVD drive.  Next time the whole console is going to just melt...

The really bad news is it scratched my copy of BioShock...

Jeez man you have got the worst luck ever with that console

Wait... how did the console itself actually scratch your disk???

The DVD Drive overspun and threw my Bioshock into the back of the console, I had to pull it out carefully with tweezers.

If you haven't read it, read my story of how I got my console back...

Hey, sounds like my 360 - the picture is starting to crap out. First, it gets fuzzy while you're playing. Then everything starts to lok kind of negative. Turn it off and then turn it back on? Sure, now we have audio and no picture. Xbox guys told me on the phone that it's probably the video card crappin' out and that it'd have to be sent in for repairs...

Yup, overheating causes the connective goo (glue?) on the GPU's Heatsink to fail. Some have fixed it themselves, else will have to send it in for repairs. My heart is with you.

Hey man,

I feel your pain, I'm now on my 4th xbox, this time its an Elite. Getting really sick and tired of all this crap! Great blog BTW, I just found it now.

Only good thing about living in South Africa is that when your xbox dies they just give you a brand new one immediately!
