Not sure if anyone is as anxious about the state of the world as I am, but I'm a little freaked out. I don't have any medical skills and am already isolating myself in place (with my wonderful wife). So I don't feel like there is much I can do to help.
I had an idea last week to discount my Bootstrap 4, but it still didn't feel like enough. So instead, I've decided to open all my personal course (not the Pluralight courses) for free until this all blows over. If you're home waiting for something to do, you can go watch any of these courses completely free.
You do not need to register, or anything, just visit the course and all the videos are available as ‘previews’. You will be able to take the entire course without even giving me any personal information! The courses include:
At my training site (Wilder Minds Training), I'm working on a new kind of course for me. I'm calling them Micro-Courses.
The idea behind these new courses is that they are short and teach one very discrete skill. My first one is SignalR!
I will probably be adding more SignalR micro-courses for it's use in different SPA networks fairly soon. If you have a course idea that you would like me to make, feel free to contact me.
For any of the students who are taking my courses, thanks for all your support. I really appreciate it.
Normally the Discussion tab on my courses would be the place to ask questions about the course, but right now it’s impossible. Due to a change from Livefyre, all discussion is locked temporarily on all courses at Pluralsight.
I don’t want to leave you hanging if you have questions, so for now, please ask questions that come up from any of my Pluralsight courses in the comment section of this post. I’ll do my best to answer the questions as quickly as possible.
I am delighted to be creating courses for Pluralsight. It’s fun and it’s something I can do while I am travelling on the http://wilderworldtour.com. I hope the students are getting a lot out of the courses and am happy to answer questions when they get stuck.
But it seems that many of the questions end up as messages directly here on my blog or even directly to my email address. The only problem with this is that if I answer questions directly, the other students can’t benefit from them.
This is why I invariably reply asking them to ask on the discussion tab. I point this out because it seems that some students missed this part of the course page entirely:
