Mouse Phone == Awesome?

I have a product idea but neither the ambition nor the grist to make it happen…so this is a vague pleading to hardware companies:

I was thinking about my phone today.  I leave it on vibrate when I am out of the house working but it rings and I don’t notice it.  I then thought that I often also use a wireless mouse for my laptop…that’s when it hit me.  I need a phone that is a bluetooth mouse…really.  Here are some of my reasons:

• When it rings I’ll notice (as I usually have my hand on it).
• It would also reduce the # of devices I run around with.
• I don’t need a camera, camcorder, mp3 player or internet browser on my phone.

My thought is to make it a clamshell phone (so that all the real phone parts are inside) and make it work as a mouse only when closed:

What do you think?  Is it a good idea or am I goofy?
